Get the survey,
then we dig.

A fence built a foot onto a neighbour's land comes down at your expense, however well it was built. It is the most expensive mistake in this trade and a survey prevents all of it.

How we work

A Florida installer, and the boundary is yours

GY Company LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L22000319561, filed in 2022, holding local contractor registration [LOCAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION NUMBER] where required and carrying general liability and workers compensation insurance.

Three things to be clear about. We call in the 811 utility locate before any digging, as Florida law requires, and we will not break ground until it clears. We pull permits where the municipality requires them, but homeowner association approval remains yours to obtain. And the boundary line is yours to confirm — get a current survey, because a fence built on a neighbour's land may have to come out at your expense no matter how well it was built.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Do I need a survey?

We strongly recommend a current one. If a fence goes up on a neighbour's land it can be ordered removed at your cost, and a survey is cheap against that. We install where you instruct us to.

Do I need a permit?

In most Florida municipalities, yes, and we pull it. Your homeowner association may also require separate written approval, and that part is yours to arrange before we start.

Can you dig this week?

Only once the 811 utility locate has cleared. That is a legal requirement and hitting a buried line is both dangerous and expensive, so we do not shortcut it.

Will it survive a hurricane?

Nobody can promise that. Posts are set to depth for the soil and the design wind load, which is what good practice allows — but hurricane-force wind is not something any fence is warrantied against.

Is vinyl really maintenance-free?

It never needs painting, which is the real benefit. It can also crack on impact and discolour over years of sun, and we would rather tell you that now than sell it as permanent.

My fence is around the pool. Does that change anything?

Considerably. A pool barrier has specific legal requirements for height, gaps, and self-closing self-latching gates. We build to those and will refuse a design that does not meet them.
